On Tuesday night we attended the Spring 12/13 'Blue Sky' show featuring collections by Juliette Hogan, Salasai and Alexandra Owen. We also had the chance to raise a glass for Showroom 22's 10th birthday. Overall, a really great night! Here is some of what we saw...

FOUREYES ON ROOM 228 + ZUS & ZO

Last weekend we enjoyed a delicious brunch at Zus & Zo cafe in Herne Bay (if you haven't already gone, go!). While we were there we took a peek at Room 228, a cute little space accessed through Zus & Zo which is home to a collection of clothing, shoes and jewellery among other things. From tomorrow, Room 228 will collaborate with Sherie Muijs and will showcase the designer's simple and beautiful shirts for which she is well known. We hear that she has even done a men's shirt which we are very keen to get our hands on. Check out our photos below and take a look here to see Sherie's shoot of her recent shirt collection. Enjoy!

FOUREYES EDIT: GORMAN

Australian label Gorman recently opened their first New Zealand store in Newmarket. We were there for their opening and were really impressed by the colour, prints and variety of the current collection. We had the pleasure of choosing a few of our favourite items from the range which FOUREYES styled and photographed. Here are the results! It was a long day but we had a heap of fun.

FOUREYES ON CATWALK ON THE STREET

CATWALK ON THE STREET was a one day event that consisted of a series of four outdoor fashion shows that took place in Newmarket just over a week ago. This was an opportunity for local retailers and designers to show off some of their winter collections currently in stores. Open to the public, it drew large crowds of all ages.
The event also saw the announcement of Jessica Allan (pictured above) as the winner of the NEXT FACE OF NEWMARKET competition. We will shortly be seeing Jessica in several campaigns across the city. Click through to see what we saw that day.

FOUREYES ON ZAMBESI

After many years at their Vulcan Lane store, we were very curious about the new Zambesi flagship Britomart store. We went to the store opening last week and were very impressed by what we saw. The fittings of the store is awesome and the space itself is vast and well laid out. If the party hadn't had such a great turn out, you would have found the four of us us in the changing rooms trying on this seasons' collection!
